I noticed this in passing - I got my first tattoo when I turned 50 after my
divorce. I wish I had *never* done it. Jim "Lynn Hansen" wrote in message ... In article , (Mirjam Bruck-Cohen) wrote: Yes but they are a bit hard to pass on to your kids mirjam of getting another tattoo while in London as the ultimate memento! I know.. might not be totally appropriate to this particular newsgroup, but you asked! Tattoos are done with needles, aren't they? Lynn (whose son just left with his best friend to get the friend's first tattoo in honor of his 18th birthday) I just saw this. Yes, I've been behind in my reading and have mostly been reading the newest threads (quicker to download for me). Anyway, Mirjam, my son and I are getting complimentary tattoos when he turns 18 in 6 months. Still not a family heirloom, but I think it will be a very meaningful (and long term!) right of passage for both of us. Oddly, this is my second son, but that's the way life goes sometimes - oddly. "Jim Mc Namara" had some very interesting things to
say about See you in a bit: I noticed this in passing - I got my first tattoo when I turned 50 after my divorce. I wish I had *never* done it. I'm not a tattoo fan myself, but have seen one that was actually useful. My late father had his blood type on one shoulder. IIRC, he got that when in the Navy in Vietnam. -- "Don't mess with major appliances unless you know what you are doing (or unless your life insurance policy is up-to-date)." - John, RCFL |
