I can not get the newstgroup rcty through my isp?

Is any one having a simular problem

It may be that your ISP views rcty as a low-traffic group and has
dropped it from their feed. Call or send an email asking where it
went, see what they say.

That's why I dumped Earthlink after 3 years and have been happy with
Verizon, they will add almost any group as long as it's listed at google or
that other place....ISC I think.

are you getting an error message? my ISP has frequent
(usually weekly) news spool dumps, which cuts off access
temporarily. or the server could be down. both show an error
message at the bottom of my newsreader screen.
does your ISP have customer support? you could call & ask
them. sometimes CS isn't aware the server choked...

Wow, I thought you all were lost forever (except on Google)!

I have not been able to read any messages through OE and my ISP since early
last week. I finally went to my ISP's web site (I use cox.net) and they
have installed new news servers with new server addresses. Then I had to
unsubscribe and then subscribe again to get it to download.

Maybe you are having a similar problem, Dennis.
