Notice: Interruption of newsgroup service

Hi everyone.

Last night, Seattle experienced a major windstorm that has resulted in
widespread power outages across the region (about half of Seattle City Light
Co.'s customers are still without power as I write this 24 hours later). They
say it may be several days before everyone's power is restored. Until My house
again has power, my ability to access the net and process new messages is very
limited, and unreliable at best. Please be patient. If your messages do not
appear within a few days of you're sending them, this does not mean they're lost
or rejected, only that I'm not yet able to process them. In the mean time, I'll
be keeping busy trying to keep my house warm with a fireplace not designed for
the job. When my electric power is again restored, newsgroup service will resume
as normal
