Default Finding materials - for a special ornament - Question

Hello all.

I am looking to take a wooden sphere, paint it with toll paints, and
then to seal pour a layer of either Acrylic, plastic, or something else
that is clear and very hard. The problem is finding that last bit...
Acrylic or plastic that I can dip the ornament in. Anyone know where I
can find this or what else I can use?

BB

PS: I am not on much....if anyone is willing...please email me
