When my DGC picked up the desire to sew, I gave them the book that is sold
by Nancy's Notions. It is an 80-page paperback called, 'LET'S SEW". it is
written in association with the National 4-H Council. It is still in the
catalog www.nancysnotions.com and sells for $9.99.
I taught several teachers with whom I worked over the years how to sew and
after this book came on the market, I always had each one purchase their
personal copy because it has so much basic information about sewing machines
and basic sewing.
NAYY, just a happy customer.
Emily
