Oh thank you, Bonnie. And that's why I don't have a tree.

Today I saw a hilarious Christmas Card with a similar
theme. It featured artwork of the top portion of a
decorated tree, a cat with a bird ornament in mouth was
bowing the tree over. VERY cute and well done. It was
a Lang Graphics card, in a boxed set. I immediately
thought it would be a fun model for a small quilt, so I
decided to tell the cat fanciers here about it.

PS: I once had a cat that climbed the tree but it never
damaged anything.

Actually, I prefer the cat to the Christmas tree--which is why I don't do
trees any more. I just take my lights outside and put them on the oleander,
LOL.

Very funny! Our Nermyl is very pleased to climb our tree and knocked it
flat at least 3 times last year. I think I will make sure to have my
camera handy when I put up the tree tomorrow (today... whatever.) She
has already been inspecting the boxes and looking to see what she can
get into. Luckily, Tatanya isn't interested in climbing the tree, but if
Nermyl knocks something down for her, she'll happily bat it around the
room... until she notices we're laughing at her. How rude of us!
