Default Almost off topic - removing iron on goo

I accidentally ironed on a patch in the wrong spot - does any one know how
to remove the glue?

I find that surgical spirit, or old-fashioned light fuel gets rid of most
types of goo, and leaves no stain.

That should have read LIGHTER fuel, not LIGHT fuel (just in case that means
something else over there!). I have used perfume spray with great success,
but of course that`s not as pure and might leave a mark.

Two suggestions:

1. Iron the wrong side of the shirt/whatever with a cloth underneath
it. the goo should melt off onto the other object.

2. Carbonara makes a Stain Devil for goo. It works very well!

all this paperwork to start a Brownie troop
is amazing.

LOL! I just started as the 01 leader for my dd's Junior troop and
know just what you mean! A monthly report on what we did?! I want to
run the troop not fill out paperwork!

However, if you are getting "into" GS, there's a great Yahoo group you
should know about - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AllGirlScouts/

I'll check it out - how heavy is the traffic?

Cheryl

Enough to be interesting, not so much as to be flooded everyday.
Occasionally flares up (just like any other group) - probably need to
read it every day or two.

I really enjoy it!
