Almost off topic - removing iron on goo
I accidentally ironed on a patch in the wrong spot - does any one know how
to remove the glue? Cheryl |

I find that surgical spirit, or old-fashioned light fuel gets rid of most
types of goo, and leaves no stain. Pat P "Cheryl Isaak" wrote in message ... I accidentally ironed on a patch in the wrong spot - does any one know how to remove the glue? Cheryl |

That should have read LIGHTER fuel, not LIGHT fuel (just in case that means
something else over there!). I have used perfume spray with great success, but of course that`s not as pure and might leave a mark. Pat P "Cheryl Isaak" wrote in message ... Two suggestions:
1. Iron the wrong side of the shirt/whatever with a cloth underneath it. the goo should melt off onto the other object. 2. Carbonara makes a Stain Devil for goo. It works very well! |

all this paperwork to start a Brownie troop
is amazing. LOL! I just started as the 01 leader for my dd's Junior troop and know just what you mean! A monthly report on what we did?! I want to run the troop not fill out paperwork! However, if you are getting "into" GS, there's a great Yahoo group you should know about - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AllGirlScouts/ Linda |

I'll check it out - how heavy is the traffic?
Cheryl Enough to be interesting, not so much as to be flooded everyday. Occasionally flares up (just like any other group) - probably need to read it every day or two. I really enjoy it! |
