If a quite reader has any voice, I think that would be a good addition.

You know that I had to say something also? (Big Grin)

Well....

I'm considering adding a line to the FAQ to the effect of "If YOU don't
like the rules, YOU are welcome to leave."

Anyone want to comment? Or are we all down for our naps after our can of
Ensure?

BTW, anyone going to be in Kansas City for the Miniature Fantasies show
this weekend? I think I'm going to be there Saturday sometime.

I've taken my nap, chugged my Metumucil, and before settling into my rocking
chair to read the AARP magazine I thought I'd comment.
Your FAQ addition sounds reasonable. This is not the first time someone has
disagreed with the rules of the group.

Thanks Patrick. Yes, even the quiet readers have a voice, if they are
willing to share it. I wanted to hear what other members of our little
community have to say.

I sort of thought that line was obvious. Who holds a gun to these peoples'
heads & compels them to post without checking the guidelines? I think the
content of the messages speaks for them.
I don't like to ride much of anything naked...

Aha! You were the good do-be. I appreciate having some of the info
exchanged here archived to check on. Has some other good-hearted soul
archived the posts prior to 8/01 anywhere?

If you have something you want to add, let me know. If you have
commentary to submit, send it to me. Other topics for the FAQ? Let's
hear 'em. This is a good chance for everyone to contribute something
that will be seen by new group members and novice hobbyists.

The very early group posts, minus spam, are on the FAQ website. I also
have some of 1999 to early 2001 on my hard drive here at home,
unfortunately that includes all the spam. My husband and I were
experimenting with an auto-archiver but when Google bought Dejanews and
put everything back online we stopped saving it.

Actually, Google goes all the way back to the beginning. There are
posts there from 1995, but the archives that Dawn has are all in text
files, so, while you can't search them by keyword, you can read them
in chronological order.
