======================================

Female

Feminum ... Feminatis ... Feminant. Which is the real word ladies and
gennulmen? For thems amongst you who--unlike me--have more than
a smattering knowledge of Latin ... you will know that one does not
conjugate a noun. That said ... the real word is ... Feminum!

Feminum is a rare metal folks ... found only on Paradise Island and no
where else in the world. One of the women of the island--born in 1938
as a product of pathogenesis (virgin birth)--had bracelets made for
her of this metal. She is quite famous today. Her name is Diana ...
also know as Wonder Woman. The bracelets made of Feminum--as you all
surely know--made her body bullet proof.

And so we go on to the Woman's Bible. For those of you who wonder
where the logic is in this segue ... wonder no longer. All ye who
enter the world of Tidbits ... leave logic behind ... a prerequisite
in the quest for knowledge. Written by Elizabeth Cady Standish, it has
some interesting commentary about the Old and New Testaments ... and
the obvious superiority of women over men. I ... a mere male ... have
no choice but to agree with her views after having read her position
as regards Eve and the Apple and the Snake. It's too long to describe
here ... but for those of you have time ... go on the Net and search
about. It is surely there somewhere. She was clearly way ahead of
Adam.

Which brings us--quite logically in Tidbits terms--to the Sleeping
Beauty. A grim Grimm fairy tale. A child is born to royalty ... a
party is thrown ... someone is not invited ... a curse is bestowed
upon the child who at fifteen years of age falls asleep for a hundred
years ... a prince/hero comes along ... kisses her ... and all is well
again in the world. It's your typical every day hero-type story ...
good over evil ... all that stuff.

And what pray tell dear dear Benjamin ... what pray tell does this all
have to do with jewelry? Ahhh ... I thought you would never ask.
There was once this jeweler named Lalique who made gorgeous upon
gorgeous stuff. And one day he made a lozenge-shaped brooch with a
sleeping female face upon it. A very pretty thing ... with only one
slight and insignificant drawback. Upon looking at the lovely visage
of our sleeping beauty ... I find that not only is she not the much of
a beauty ... but she doesn't even look feminine. You be the judge and
get back to me. So there it is.

For those of you who are new to this thing called
Tidbits...may I direct you to my home page at www.tyler-adam.com where
you will scroll down the left side menu till you get to the area that
says Tidbits Graphics ... and then click on the link that says: Female
.... for a view of our figure in gold with enamel and diamonds.

And there ya have it.
That's it for this week folks.
Catch you all next week.
