weaving in all loose ends on each square is time-consuming but easier in
the long run then waiting til the whole things done.

what's the best way- for you- to "tame the wilde ends"?

When I finish a round, I flip it over and just pull the ends through the
shafts of the DC. Takes about two seconds.

I have a granny square afghan that my grandmother made for me about 35
years ago that fits the top of my CA. King bed, and I have a one huge
granny square afghan that I use as a bedspread but, after making one
small afghan with granny squares, I swore off of afghans involving a
gazillion little pieces that need to be connected. Now I just stick to
one piece afghans or, MAYBE, if I like the pattern enough, ones that
involve stripes. I HATE attaching all of those squares! ! !
