Default NYCO done

I finally completed knitting the Celtic Cardigan I have been making as my New
Year's Cast On -- all that is left is getting the buttons and sewing them on.

I have a whole list of projects that I am eager to start now that this one is
off my knitting couch. (DH is careful not to sit on my section as one never
knows what might lurk there between the cushions. ) Of course, I also have some
existing UFO's - but due to their nature, I will probably start something new
instead of finishing those.

Good for you, Judy! I am ashamed to say that my NYCO is sitting, abandoned
and forlorn, in my knitting basket. Bad Katherine!
Will we get to see a picture of your cardigan?

Laurie, it's a worldwide designation, but we did have a NYCO , yes, new
year's cast on here at rcty... Ranee was the instigator and keeping track
of progress.
Noreen
who had special dispensation to count a project she actually started in way
before New Years as her NYCO... and it sits there... woefully ignored,
grin!

Laurie - As I understand it the NYCO is supposed to be a project that started
on New Year's Day and that is for me. We all knit or crochet or whatever all
sorts of things to give away but this one project is supposed to be for
ourselves. It is sort of a group thing. At the beginning of the year the
newsgroup was full of messages about our choices for the project and we share
our progress. Now, as you might have noticed, I need to find a way to share a
picture. (Getting my DH to take one isn't the problem but finding a posting
location is trickier.)

Judy, if you send it as a .gif or as a .jpg and NOT as a .bmp or NOT as a
..btmp or NOT as a .png... I'd be happy to put it up at my sharemation site.
It won't STAY there, but I'd leave it up for a couple of weeks.
HTH,
Noreen
PS... less than 400 X 400 pixels would be best too.
use my dtccom.net addy that's knitche at dtccom dot net....

Sounds great. I will get my DH to take a pic and then turn it into a .jpg of
the appropriate size. Thanks.

Glad to do it!
I only have one of them, Judy, the other was deleted by my ISP...
strange... but if you send it to me again, I'd be glad to add IT to both
albums.
