Brother Linker
Does anyone know the secrets to getting the Brother Linker to work
correctly? It advances one stitch at a time as it should. The linker needle goes in and out and the little arm moves up and down at the beginning of the cycle. However, something must be out of adjustment. The needle goes into the stitch most of the time but the stitch never gets behind the gate. The needle is running through the brush. Should it do that? What is the function of the brush? Help, please Tom |

Hi Tom
You may have this problem sorted by now, but I recently acquired the Brother KA-8310 and had problems with it initially. I solved it in two ways. First I renewed the retaining bar, and secondly, gently pulling downwards on the knitting as you link enables the knitting to come off the needle. In my manual it also says to knit the final row of your knitting at a higher tension than usual IE Medium Yarn - 10 Fine - Very Fine 9-10 Hope this helps. |
