comfort quilt help
Just feeling the need to talk here. A lineman with our local electric co-op
was killed Friday night, leaving a wife, baby on the way, 2 sons and a step-son behind. I am making a quilt for the baby-to-be, and thought it would be good to make one for each of the boys as well, who I believe are all under 10. What should the labels say? Should I just put who it is from, the date, and that I tied and finished it? Help! LOL Toni |

That is hard one Toni. The idea of using some of the man's shirts is
such a wonderful idea. As far as labels go would something like "in loving memory of (name) Good luck...Mary |

When I cousin's husband died in a tragic accident and left her with a three
yr old boy and pregnant with twins, I wanted to do something for her son. I made a quilt using various trucks (including fire trucks his dad was a fireman). The label read something to the effect *may you always know that you are surrounded by people who love you very much*. It isn't easy to come up with right kind of words for such a tragic situation.
