The city of Biloxi Mississippi needs your help.

It was announced in the news this a.m. that a kangaroo is loose on the
streets. The Mayor thinks "its a joke or something" Nope it's been
spotted by 6 people along Highway 90. That is the scenic route along
the coast.

The animal handlers don't know how to capture it. Now they can
capture a gator or two a day but are stumped as to how to handle this
situation.

It is estimated to be about 4 feet tall.

You never know just what will bounce out after a hurricane.

Hey Sandy:

Well you want to go to the Hollywood Casino. Let me know when you
plan to arrive and I can get free tickets to see Pete Fountain along
with free tickets to the buffet. All the boiled, fried and grilled
shrimp you want. Then we can skip over to the Grand Isle and have a
snack at Emeril's eatery. The Hollywood is only about 30 miles from
me. So come on down and enjoy the sweltering heat with the rest of
us. I'll bet Miss Polly will being her pet alligator. You'd
recognize her. About as big as a minute with a big red boa around her
neck. giggle

You lucky woman! My daddy was born and raised a fly's mile from Jackson
- and my Gramma moved to Gulfport right before she passed away about 6
years ago ... I've only been lucky enough to go a few times as a child,
but I still remember the smell of sweet magnolia (Gramma had'em in her
front yard) and the kindness and friendliness of everyone I met there.

Right after we made arrangements to move here (Northern FL) my Gramma
passed away ... we were moving here specifically so we could be within
visitin' distance ('bout 2 1/2 hours to her door - better than the 26
hours it was before we moved). She was a wonderful woman. And she had
wonderful neighbors.

Well, Kate,
Roo's are pretty darn difficult to catch even for an Aussie!
They run and jump so unpredictably. Usually, a ranger will try to
shoot it with a tranquilliser dart if the animal will pause for a
second.
Actually, the boot was on the other foot a week or so back here. A
wild deer careened through the neighbourhood with the same problem. It
seemed to have an inexhaustible supply of nervous energy. In the end
it had to be shot dead. It was such a big animal.
Evidently there are some wild deer around, but nothing like stateside
of course.

You should see the deer we have in southern FL - they're the size of a
large dog! They're called "Key Deer" and are the manipulated
descendants of the White Tail deer you'd find up north in the US!

Really cute li'l boogers. Very friendly too - not the least bit afraid
of man (probably because they're protected and are around humans so
much). Took oodles of pics petting them last time we visited the Keys!

Even a small 'roo can be very hard to handle. Don't let it grab you around
the neck or it will rake it's back feet down your front and rip you open.
Shoot it, even a tranquilizer gun will make life easier, but if you don't
have one of those, keep away from it.

Have to ask where you got the sheeting from.
