ON TOPIC - what should I bring

To stitch while away with DD to a hockey tournament.

We leave tomorrow after school, for three nights in a hotel. Margaret St
John has allowed me to borrow her portable Ott lamp, so maybe I should just
keep working on her baby dragons.

But part of me wants something "funner" to do, maybe the cardinal challenge
I'm doing with a birding friend who is also a stitcher.

Or the little poppy free chart I found yesterday

Or maybe that teacup pattern I've been promising myself to start for
ages....


Does have to be washable, so over dyes are out of the question....

The only thing I won't bring is the hockey playing penguins that is in the
current issue of The Cross Stitcher (thank you Karen, I never look at that
mag as this is the first time in YEARS it had something I wanted to do)
