Default Fabric Hats

As anyone made a hat with the brim being made of Timtex? I have seen the
patterns and want to know if they can be altered for a smaller head. TIA

I have not used Timtex, but have a small head size (less brain?) and
always adjust the hats to fit. Helped a lot when my head got even
smaller with no hair.
I have both McCall's & Simplicity patterns and they include
instructions for changing the size, or using small, med and large.

Hi Anna Belle, I had that same problem during Chemo 14 years ago (breast
cancer). Now that I feel more confidant in my sewing I would like to try
one. No pressure, it would be nice to own a cap that doesn't have a long
tail out the back from pulling the tab in. I also have a small collection
of hats from Gap Kids. Size 6-7 yr. fits well! Not small brains, Anna
Belle, just better use of space! VBG

It took me a very short bit to get used to it, but I think I am not as
quick at things like this as most people are.

Hi Linda,
Timtex.com has a website with patterns for hats for sale as well as the book
for the fabric bowls. I also saw the book on their site for the fabric
boxes. I haven't made any of the hats so don't really know how hard or easy
they might be.
Hope this helps.

I have used the Timtex for the bowls and love it. I would love to make a
cap for myself and was wondering if anyone has made one and if they could
recommend a pattern. TIA, Linda
