Default BRITS only - insuring a quilt

Insuring a queen sized quilt in Britain...would it need to be assessed by
size, or the amount of quilting, or the price the quilt maker has put on it?
Here's the tale...I made a queen sized patchwork quilt for my daughter's
forthcoming nuptials. It is machine pieced and machine quilted. She'll need
to insure it. What experiences if any, have you Brits had with insuring
quilts on household contents insurance policies?

None at all!!

They would just be covered with the house contents policy.

I'm glad you asked. I've been wondering too. There's a quilt here that needs
shipping but I'm wondering what if it goes astray. There's just the awful
feeling lurking in my mind that the carrier is not going to care what fabric
was used or how many months of love went into it. Polly
