Default Jewellery Supplies UK

Could anyone tell me where to find good reputable jewellery component
supplies in the UK, such as gemstones, silver-wire, headpins, eyepins,
etc.

Any websites would be great also.

Thank you.

1. Echinastone.com
http://www.echinastone.com/
Calibrated gemstones. Especially good selection of the calibrated
peridot and sapphire. The only website offers machine cut sapphires
and rubies. Cheap prices. Accepts custom orders. Ask them for trade
discount. Many websites re-sell their stones. Free international delivery
for orders over 50 USD.

3. Icgems.com
http://www.icgems.com/
A lot of rare gems. Nice carved gems collection. Offers online only
small portion of inventory. Accepts custom orders.

3. Multicolour.com
http://www.multicolour.com/
Very reputable and probably oldest internet trader. Great resource for
single gems. Very good selection of Alexandrite. David, owner of the
site, very helpful.

If you can comply with their 'wholesale only' rule, ie are a retailer
or manufacturer than I thoroughly reccomend CJ Burhouse at
www.burhouse.com The website isn't much use but the catalogues show it
all.
For a more varaible range try www.mineralwarehouse.co.uk
For standard jewellers tools and bullion www.cooksongold.com is one of
the biggest - huge catalogue that will have you reaching for the
cheque book - not a patch on Rio Grande's though.

You may want to try Kernow craft at www.kernowcraft.com. They sell all you
could want from findings to stones.

If you ever have problems find supplies to make jewelry, just look online. I have also had trouble finding what I need at the local hobby store. There is so many arts & crafts suppliers online to get what you are looking for.
