Anyone speak Dutch?
Hi Linda,
Dutch is my language. It seems to me it is just a news item on their website. There is no information on how to order this kit, even no company is mentioned. Just explaining pinguins are populair because of the movie "Happy Feet" and the stitching is done in cross stitch, 3/4 cross stitch, backstitch and french knots. If you like, I could phone them next monday to hear more about the pinguins? Grea van Vlerken www.stitchpoint.com "lewmew" schreef in bericht ps.com... I found a link to this magazine and would love to get information about ordering the penguins across the top - does anyone speak Dutch well enough to help me (or know where I can get this pattern)? http://www.borduurblad.nl/index.php?id=1068 I tried Babelfish, but the translation was poor. I also tried emailing them, but got no answer - it may have gone to my spam folder as "unrecognizable." All help appreciated! TIA! Linda |

Actually, that's not quite accurate. It says that this pattern is in the magazine number 18, which is currently on store shelves and under "Verkoop Adressen" it gives you the addresses of various stores which carry the magazine, once you put in the city (in the Netherlands) where you live. It also tells you how to sign up to get the magazine through the mail under "Abonneren." Knoop = Button
steek = stitch it is the stitch where you push the needle close to place it comes out from the cloth , than roll your thread several times over your needle and pull the thread with neeedle through that ,, You than can anchor this closely and can get either a french knot or a little worm like piece , wonderful to make little roses with mirjam 500, Tara D wrote: On 23 Feb 2007 13:47:06 -0800, "lewmew" wrote: I can't wait to learn how to knoopjessteek myself!
