Knitting with the largest Knitting needles - record attempt
National Knitting Week 2006 (yes, 2006 - I'm a bit behind the times)
Knitting needles 6.5cm (2.6 inches) in diameter and 3.5 meters long (11.4 feet). The yarn was a rope 12mm (0.47 inches) in diameter. And how about crochet with boat hooks or speed knitting (250 stitches in three minutes)? http://www.bhkc.co.uk/data/national_knit_events06.htm -- Bruce Fletcher Stronsay, Orkney UK "Pieces of 9! pieces of 9!" Parrotty error |

Parrotty error I remember doing something called broomstick lace where you wrapped the yarn around a broom handle, but can't imagine why anyone would want to knit that way Lucille |
