Default Fabric Folding Pen

A painted on starch solution will do the same thing if you press the
fold, won't it?

Has anyone tried one of these yet? I've seen them advertised in several
catalogs. You add water and a powder and draw on the fabric. Where you've
drawn folds easily.

I haven't seen the ads. Why would I need a product to draw folds?

I gather that the idea is to make the crease easier and 'flatter.' Some
fabrics keep bonging flat while you're working on them. I was sceptical
myself, which is the reason I wondered if anyone had tried one yet. I enjoy
making quilts with folded flowers and I'm a sucker for a new notion.
