Fabric Folding Pen
A painted on starch solution will do the same thing if you press the
fold, won't it? Monique Joan8904 wrote: Has anyone tried one of these yet? I've seen them advertised in several catalogs. You add water and a powder and draw on the fabric. Where you've drawn folds easily. joan joan o'reilly http://members.aol.com/Joan8904/index.html |

I haven't seen the ads. Why would I need a product to draw folds?

I gather that the idea is to make the crease easier and 'flatter.' Some fabrics keep bonging flat while you're working on them. I was sceptical myself, which is the reason I wondered if anyone had tried one yet. I enjoy making quilts with folded flowers and I'm a sucker for a new notion. joan joan o'reilly http://members.aol.com/Joan8904/index.html |
