Default Searching for Counted Cross Stitch Pattern

I have been searching for a 'sampler-type' counted cross stitch my
daughter once did for her home. She no longer has the kit she used but
sent me the verse that appears on the piece. I am not counted cross
stitch savy so can't reconstruct it. The verse is as follows:

God bless the corners of this house
and all the lintels bless,
And bless the hearth
and bless the board and bless each place of rest,
And bless each door that opens wide
to strangers as to kin, And bless the rooftree overhead
and every sturdy wall.
The peace of man
The peace of God
With peace and love for all.

If she still has the sampler, have her send you a photo (or photocopy)
of it. Blow it up at your local copy shop to a size where you can
clearly see the individual stitches, then draw your own graph lines with
a ruler. Voila, a chart!

Okay, that's creepy.

I cleaned out some bookcases this morning, and moved all my charts -- and
came across that very leaflet. It was even one of the ones I pulled out to
look at more closely.

The copy I have is in a leaflet called Rules....and More Rules, by Homestead
Designs. It was published in 1982. Do you think that's the one you're
looking for?

Yes, it could be the one. Would you be willing to share it?

Just so you know .... one of my stitchers is in the process of
stitching this for me right now. This is TOO weird! It's going to take
some time though as I'm still getting all the threads together (SORRY
TIA MARY!). It should be out some time early next year. WILD!

No problemo. Brigitte was here for two weeks and we were gone most of
the time. Then I have this wedding gown I have to finish altering by
next Tuesday!!! I was starting to think the package got lost in the
mail or something :-)! CiaoMeow ^;;^

Nope ... just this woman taking her time. Well .... got too busy
actually. I have most of it together, will finish out the thread
tomorrow and get in the mail Mon. If you don't have it finished by
Nashville, NO WORRIES ok? It's quite big and I don't want you
stressing. Shall I send the beads too, or wait and put them on
myself???

HUGS and THANK YOU!
