Yep, looking at the Berylium thread below (and others), I would have thought the Company, to dispell fears, should have made a public announcement. i.e. "the problem lies with the metal and not the stone". I'll phone the nearest gems lab, with a view to getting my wife's collection, checked out with their survey meter. Thanks Bertie
