A Finish and A Start!
I took Pat's advice and pulled out a UFO near completion while waiting
for the fabric I had ordered. (can someone help Pat, I think she's fainted from the shock) I managed to get all of the millions (well thousands anyway) of beads into Cinderella (Mirabilia) on Friday. 4 days of beading...my eyes were bugging out! lol You can see her he http://community.webshots.com/photo/...66497448ZgsXCy My long awaited reward was starting Bagatelle! I'd found some fabric locally, at a great price, so I was pretty thrilled to be able to start Bags immediately! I'm being "good" that is two finishes to the one start! rofl Caryn |

That is absolutely gorgeous Caryn - a lot of work but so worth it. Is there
some place one could see Bagatelle? Sharon (N.B.) .................................................. ........................... ..... wrote in message ups.com... I've recently finished a "Cross-eyed Cricket" Baby sampler (Gabrielle's Cygnet) where I switched the fabric from the mauve to "Crossed-Wings" overdyed "Storm" (mottled blue and white) and changed the purple and mauve tones to blues; and Teresa Wentler's woolcross cushion (Flowers). I've started Jeannette Douglas' "Take Time to Stitch" (I can carry it on my commute to work), and am going to get back to a couple of UFOs - Flower Power, Moira Blackburn's "Three Things" before I start anything (else) new. No affliation with this shop, this is just a good picture of the design! http://www.wyndhamneedleworks.com/Lo...bagatelle.html I saw the designer's model at my LNS in Alexandria, VA. Just gorgeous! I didn't want to use blue fabric, so am going with mulberry instead. Caryn |

Oh my oh my - is that drop dead gorgeous or what? In what century do you
think you'll have that one done? :-) I like your choice of mulberry too - one of my favourite colours. Sharon (N.B.) I've found that the monotone ones go a lot faster than the TW's do. I finished Long Dog's St Sylvestre, which is about 1/3 (maybe) the size of Bagatelle in about 4 mos. Can't say that I'll finish Bagatelle this year..probably not....but I'm gonna see what happens! If nothing else, the samplers are a good thing to alternate with the TW's, Mirabilas and Silver Lining designs also in my current rotation!
