What are you working on during Olympics?

I know there are groups out there encouraging us to work on our needlearts during the Olympics. What I am wondering is this: What are YOU going to work on? Which craft, who will be benefiting, how many do you think you will make?

Personally, I will be doing CROCHET and all of it will be AFGHANS for a children's hospital. I am hoping to get about 4 made in the 2 weeks of Olympic games.

What about the rest of you?

Does this mean you will be working because you are watching or working
because you no longer watch the Olympics ? Just curious - I find they
are so commercial now I can't be bothered with them. I see the media
disappointed when they don't make gold and think, hell they made the
Olympics, isn't that tops ???


I hope to watch and not watch on the main network but get to see more of
the prelims and less popular sports

I'll most likely work on something small or something that doesn't need
lots of attention paid to it.

I will be WATCHING AND WORKING.

While I watched the Olympic Trials, I found that having the SOUND OFF and just watching made it easier to concentrate, make my own decisions about how well some one did, and talk with others in the room.

With the SPEED WALKING... I just think they look funny. I like to pick out who has the most unique quirks in their style.

There are a few things that I just plain don't understand - speed
walking among them. Synchro-swimming and tandem diving confuse me.
