Default After baking - what's the best finishing?

Hi,

I just started making clay beads. I made some 16mm pumpkins that are
just about ready to be baked. I think they look pretty good, but can't
help but wonder how the heck do you finish the small items with details
(leaves, stems, etc.) I see that alot of people are using different
grits of sandpaper in water, but these things are only 19mm and have
details, how do I get them sanded down to a polish when they are so
small. I can't help but think about when I used to get my nails done
they used what I guess was the equivalent of a dremel tool, but I
assume lower speed. Is that maybe an option? I'd prefer to stay as
natural as possible without adding a coat of "something", but if that
is not doable what are the best options.

Thanks!

Lisa
