Default Does anyone remember/have Wenche Jensen DAK files?

Hi all,

Does anyone remember/have the Wenche Jensen sweater DAK files? She
had a lot of free Norwegian sweater patterns, and I can't find them
anywhere, and now that I've got DAK and a new sponge bar, I was hoping
to try them out. I do remember one name for her sweaters she had was
"Northern Lights". I *THINK* another was called "Victoria" or
"Victorian".

Anyway, the computer I had the zip file saved on has crashed, and the
other doesn't have that zip file, so I'm hoping some other knitter
will have her files.

If you haven't received these in the meantime, I do have them, I just have
to find out on which computer, and it won't be for a few days. Let me know
if you still need them.

I did find Wenche on a new site about a year ago, if I can find that too
I'll let you know.

No, I haven't found them anywhere, and I'd be forever grateful if
you'd forward them to my e-mail, take out the junk below for the addy.
They are such lovely designs, and now that I have a way to make them,
I was so heartbroken to find the computer had died that had those
files! BTW, I can handle them if they aren't in zip files anymore. I
have a high-speed connection so I should have no problem if all you
have are the unzipped versions.

That would be nice if you can find it. I did several searches for
her, including the internet archive, and found 2 defunct web sites
with no sign of her DAK files, which is why I thought I'd try asking
the group.

Thanks again for responding!

Those patterns sound amazing. I have been looking for some nice patterns to work from. Would you mind emailing them to me as well? Thank you.

Always forget to check back in here. I did find the patterns, but there
are so many files that I believe some may be duplicates. I need to fire up
DAK and check them all out that way. Will get back to you when I've done
so. I'll zip them up before sending, so no worries about size.

Hi, do you have DAK? If not, you won't be able to use the patterns. When
I've checked them out for duplicates, I'll send them to you too.

Thank you so much for the patterns! They are beautiful, I can't wait to get started on one this weekend. I have DAK 7, I tend to struggle through creating new patterns so it will be great to work with one that I know is good.
Thanks again,
Angie

Angie, you are very welcome.

Julie, did you receive the patterns I sent you - I was not sure I worked out
your actual email address correctly, though the email has not yet been
returned as undeliverable.

Val

I've been checking, and so far no files have arrived. My e-mail is
scribe...at...clerk...dot...com, change the at and dot to their
symbols, and remove all the ... from in between. Trying to avoid bots
that collect addresses from Usenet to keep the spam down.

Thanks so much for doing this. I'm looking forward to seeing those
patterns again!

I got the files this morning, and they are as lovely as I remember!

Thanks so much for taking the time to find those files and send them
to me. My DH is already in line to get Northern Light made up for
him, and I'm thinking of making Ida, In The Net, or Victoria for
myself, not sure which one I'm going to do first!

Julie
