Does anyone own a Singer 6000E?

Someone donated a Singer 6000E to the ESL (English as a Second
Language) sewing group. The man that is repairing it has trouble with
the bobbin. Does anyone own this machine? Could you email me a copy of
the manual that talks about the bobbin? I will go to his house later
in the day to see if it is something common. He wants to save a visit
to the repair shop for something he knows he can't fix. We don't have
a Singer repair in our area but the general sewing machine repairman
has been very helpful when old machines are donated for the ESL
program. Some of the women in the ESL program have never sewn, others
have never sewn on a machine. Occassionally a student arrives who puts
us all to shame with his or her wonderful garment construction
abilities. Without pattern or instruction they are able to create
wonderful garments. One goal of the program is to help them learn how
to take the donated clothing and make it fit the family better. I am
not involved in the class but help with supplies and questions like
how to thread this bobbin.
