Got that terrific fabric for the Quilt Club today. The kids will be
thrilled. Two of kids today told me that they had so much fun they
didn't want to leave yesterday. Most of them brought more squares home
with them over the weekend to work on.

One of the other kids asked them why they were doing it if they
couldn't keep it and they looked at him like he had 2 heads and told
him because it was a nice thing to do and a way to learn so that if
you wanted to make yourself a quilt you could.

Linda, it seems that one child is learning the joy of giving. I find in my
quilting teaching, that there are more self-esteem and positive attitude
lessons than there are expected things like which end of a needle to thread.
The plan could be to teach appliqué and you wind up teaching basic
first-aid. You just never know. DH and I are both astounded at your own
teaching project. Good, good for you. Polly
