I once took her mother to Rochester Cemetery for Mother's Day... and this is what we went for: http://blogs.davenportlibrary.com/re...oting-star.jpg http://www.prairiemoon.com/image.php?id=2537&type=D http://www.reflectiveimages.com/rochester_cemetery.htm Mom loved it... once she decided I wasn't crazy. I like the way you think. I'm thinking of taking my mother to Macy's for Mother's Day...she needs stuff and likes to shop; I'd rather gnaw off my arm than enter the MegaMall, so this trip would be a TRUE from-the-heart gift! That is, if I can summon up the will.... vbg sue -- Susan Hartman |

There is also an organization called Heifer International ( http://www.heifer.org/ ) that helps poor people raise animals. You "buy" an animal, they give it to a family, show them how to raise and care for them and any progeny the family gives to another needy family. You can also specify that your gift stays in the US if you so choose. Our Sunday School has been donating to them for a few years. -- Joan See my needlework he http://community.webshots.com/user/ndjoan If worries can cure your sickness, prolong your life, or replace happiness, then go ahead and worry!
