She needs a mini-vacation on another street. The local Roman Catholic
church is having their Italian festival waaay too close to her house.

It's very annoying. Cultural diversity is fun, sure, but when your
street is blocked off by traffic, and there are drunks everywhere at all
hours, it's not a comfortable thing to live through. I live farther
away, and yet they park on my block to walk to the thing too.

Rose has more to rant about though. And- she may also be ranting about
something else entirely, too. I wouldn't know.

Nothing is worse than other peoples noise when you are already
stressed - you can feel the tension rising in your head. And when you
can't sleep for the noise it just makes everything so much worse. Hope
its only a short festival, Rose, and that you will soon be able to
hear yourself think.

It has nothing at all to do with the festival. We have, in fact
wandered over to enjoy the festivities and the food. Since I haven't
seen or spoken to Georg since this time last year, I don't know why she
pretends to speak for me. She doesn't know what she's talking about.
