Default mirrors

I need either A) a safe way to remove mirror backing -- but not all of it,
just in soft swirls so that portions are still mirrored but others are see
through. Or......
B) a safe way to apply a mirror backing to glass... in swirls!

Anyone have an idea?

Denise
