I am missing something here, cos I did - it obviously means something
different to you than it does to me. To me it means a home based person,
loving and motherly..with a natural artistic flair - least that is what

it
is s'posed to me.

What have I said now! .. cher..

LOL, Cher, I think I knew that's what you meant, but what Janise was trying
to point out is that homely HERE means...
'ugly'
'uncomely'
and the like!
Hugs,
Noreen

Good Grief, I'd never say that about anyone, let alone Mirjam...sorry
Mirjam...no offence to you my friend.

Cher is right. In UK we say homely as meaning very clever with anything for
the home. I knew what it meant in US and was a little concerned

Believe me. Cher was paying you a BIG compliment)

I too knew that Cher was being positive....I didn't mean to imply that she
wasn't. I think I typed in a winking smiley face showing that I knew, but I
guess that got lost.

On no Dear Cher in this Ng no intentioned insults are written , hence
only mistakes occure , and those are really not worth to think about
only learn about them .... and thus we all become even more patient .
