Fraudulent Earthlnk E-Mail
If you receive an e-mail from Earthlink providing you with a
link to a web page and asking you to fill in your personal information because they are having a problem with your credit card, do NOT respond to it. It is fraudulent, no matter how "right" it looks, and Earthlink is investigating. Earthlink aid they would NEVER send an e-mail out asking you to confirm or verify personal information. That seems to be the rule for most bona fide companies, so always phone the company back and do not reply to the e-mail or use the link provided. MaryR |

I received this same email last month. I emailed Earthlink with a copy of
this email attached. They stated that this is indeed a fraudulent notice from someone trying to get credit card info from Earthlink's customers. Sheila B. |
