My Mum had the cataracts in both her eyes done in the same way O, at
different times, and couldn't speak highly enough of the operation and its success. She wasn't well enough for a general anaesthetic, but said the only problem was knowing what was going on!! Glad it worked for you so well too, and hope the next one is as good Love & higs Christine "Ophelia" wrote in message k... "Katherine" wrote in message ... Higs, Katherine Hi Katherine I remember you liking that poem I goofed on some koolaid dye a couple of months ago and now have some dark purple and *very* cheery (cherry?) red roving in my stash. The purple is a smaller amount since it turned out the way I wanted but I left the red unattended and it went red, not pink. If you can use it, lemme know! I was going to use it for a thrummed 'something' but probably won't...or I can get some more! Well, that sounds interesting. I have some thrummed patterns that could use some brightness. Higs, Katherine Hi Katherine Bit late today; spent a long time making DS's quilt this morning. I'll send it to you (the roving, not the quilt) Michelle |

I think things have come on so much in the last few years regarding this
Katherine, and people over here are having it done all the time now. don't think I could stand it..playing about with things in my eyes, plus sudden lights that are wrong gives me visual migraines oh well. higz Cher "Katherine" wrote in message ... I have a feeling that the one that went wrong over here which was years back
now, was because of the illness the patient had anyway which was coupled with it. However my friend in London had her catteracts done and was fine, and apparently she has now had the lazer treatment, and is instantly seeing things she never could before throughout her whole life and it was instant.. I didnt' mean to be negative about it, but reading what I wrote realise it did seem that way, when infact I was trying to say, to Els, yes I've heard of things going wrong..well once..
