Default specific finish questions

I saw a finish that seems really nice, but don't know much about it, so
would have some questions. Some call it diamond cut finish, some laser cut
finish, diamond laser, double diamond cut, textured diamond cut... It's that
rough, sparkling, textured finish that's (I think) done by hammering surface
with faceted tool or something. And here are the questions?

1. Does it show scratches much (logic tells me that it doesen't, since it
has a textured appearance)?
2. Does it loose much of a sparkling appearance due to wear?
3. Is it hard to remove tarnish from silver with such finish?
4. From a wearers' point of view, when compared to highly polished finish
it's...(complete the sentence)?

Hope I'm not asking too much. Thank you!
