Default AFARR is safe and sound

Kathy still has the AFARR and will forward it to Di when
she has completed her letter.

Real life has a way of getting in the way of stitching projects.
Some of us stitch quickly, some slowly. The AFARR is not lost.

Thanks *so* much for checking, Beth!

Thank you Beth.
I always thought it a neat project and enjoyed hearing about it!

Thanks for checking Beth. I'm glad that nothing happened to it.

Perhaps people won't be so quick to jump to conclusions about the
character of the stitcher involved the next time it gets held up.

........stitchers waiting are far more important than
any possible life crisis anyone could ever have.

Ok, so it would be nice if people communicated, but tell me, have you
never had *anything* slip through the cracks? I can only wish that I
were that organized.

Uh-Oh -- did I start something when I posted asking about the AFARR just
before I went on holiday? I didn't get many posts on this thread -- just the
one from Beth with the status, several thanking her for posting and then the
few that seem to be the beginning of a "discussion".
I would be willing to bet that any uneasiness people feel about the status
of the AFARR is due to it having been AWOL for most of a year. It was due to
be sent to MOI in about March (was that last year?) and I didn't receive it
until Christmastime. Then I was really busy making wedding stuff and SMDGD
stuff and it took me a bit longer than anticipated to get it finished and sent
on.
I would be willing to bet that most of the problem comes from those involved
not knowing where the piece is. Since there is no time limit set, it really
shouldn't matter how long it takes for a person to finish their letter. What
does matter is not knowing where it is and if it is safe -- especially
considering we all thought it was well and truly lost for a loooong time.
Most of us are likely a bit "gun shy" now when it comes to the safety of the
AFARR :-)! CiaoMeow ^;;^
