I understand that it's ok to give opinions in this forum, and that's perfectly
alright with me, too, but when it gets personal, when names get called, especially
when the information being given is not necessarily true, well, it makes me want to
find somewhere else to go and "chat". I've been really hurt today, but I don't want
to leave the group. I want to stay and see all the pretties...and learn how to make
some of them. However, I'm struggling with how I'm feeling right now. I'm feeling a
bit bashed and bruised at the moment, and not at all accepted for something that I've
chosen to do with my life. That just isn't right, especially given the conversation
last month about one religious group accepting another. I don't like being flamed,
even indirectly. If it comes right down to it, I will seek another place to talk
about beads, because, bottom line, that is why I'm here. In the meantime, I've
blocked the conversation that is causing me hurt, and continue to read the bead
related threads.

OBR: I am working on a matching watchband and bracelet set for a friend of mine in
California. I need to figure out how to make the watchband removable and
interchangable with new ones. Any ideas?

On jewelrymaking.about.com, there are directions for making a hanging wire
amulet bag hook. You could make these hooks to attach to the watch face with a
clasp to close the bracelet. That way, you could interchange the watch face
with various bands.
