I get an email a few days before they do those promotions. You can sign up
for it on eBay.

They'll tell you in an email. About two days before.

Hey Tink.

I wish I could plan that well! Everytime I do hear about them somehow, I
just dont' have enough to post to get the benefit. Argh!

Do you still have your assistant? (sorry, haven't been following here
lately). Maybe I need one of those!

vicki, a penny sale is when they allow either a listing, or the gallery pic,
for a penny. Saves a huge chunk when you are doing multiple auctions!

Gennie,

There are a couple of penny sales that eBay promotes periodically. First is
a penny gallery sale. That means if you have a gallery photo you only pay a
pennie instead of the twenty-five cents or whatever it costs. There is also
a penny posting promotion. When listing an item on eBay you are charged a
cost up front depending on how much you start the item price wise. When
they have these penny sales it only cost a penny to list.

Is that clear as mud?

Basically, penny sales are for sellers, not buyers.

no, her's wouldn't start at a penny. She can start them at $500, if it's
the listing fee that starts at a penny.

(go ahead, Tink. I dare you!)

i understand.
but the thought of seeing a "Tink-bead" start at a penny is just mind
boggling.
