Default Need advice--beaded bead

Ok, so I saw these cat's eye beads in the FMG catalog, and I wanted to make
some:

http://www.firemountaingems.com/deta...=1&dept=search

It looks like tubular RAW, am I right? I just can't seem to get mine
looking that even and symmetrical. I'm using Nymo instead of the nylon
filament it looks like those are done with. Could that be the reason mine
don't look as nice? Or maybe I just need practice ;o)

Also, I thought these would look nice with smaller beads as the first and
last rows, and then slightly larger, contrasting beads for the middle row,
since they kinda stick out, forming "corners". I'm really new to tubular
RAW (when I saw these in the catalog, I pulled out my Art & Elegance of
Beadweaving book, and used the tubular RAW primer in there), so I don't know
if that will work. Can anyone tell me if they DON'T think it'll work?
Thanks! )

There are clear glass crystals (or large seed beads?) in that weave, too. Did
you use only the catseye beads?

NO! I have studied the pics a hundred times, and I never noticed any other
beads. Off to study some more ;o)

Thanks, Sooz )

I'm glad, because that might make a big, and easy, difference. Yay
