Default Bias Tape

I have a slipper pattern that calls for "store bought" extra wide bias
tape. I'd rather match the bias tape fabric with the slipper fabric -
but not sure what degree I cut it on?? 45? 60? Anyone know?

45 degrees is usual

You will get the best 'stretch' with 45 degrees.

45 is tue bias.
