Beaded Flower Newsletter - March 29
The Beaded Flower Newsletter
3/29/04 - From Beaded Garden (.com) If you can't view this message or have difficulty with the links, you can view the newsletter at http://www.beadedgarden.com/newsletter030804.cfm DID YOU KNOW? "Bridal bouquets began in medieval times as nosegays - small, sweet-smelling clusters carried by medieval brides. The bouquets expanded in size over the centuries, largely to keep pace with ever more extravagant wedding gowns." from Bridal Planner http://www.timesunion.com/promo/brid.../c_flowers.htm NEW PATTERN DESIGNER Annette is the newest designer for Beaded Garden. She lives in the Netherlands and runs a dairy farm as well as designing and creating beaded flower arrangements and patterns. Annette's first pattern is an Anthurium. http://www.beadedgarden.com/prodpage...t_Selected=502 BEADED GARDEN WEB SITE The book list at Beaded Garden became so long that I broke it down into subcategories by country (left column on the web page). The latest category added is for Dutch books. http://www.beadedgarden.com/catpage.cfm?Cat_Selected=1 DUTCH BEADED FLOWER BOOKS I recently acquired a number of Dutch beaded flower and beaded tree booklets. They're all at the Web site under books/Dutch. Each title has a picture of the cover, a description of what patterns are included in the book, and one or two additional photos from inside the book. These books are part of my personal collection and are not for sale. However, if I should come across additional copies of any of the books they will be made available via the Beaded Flower Newsletter.
