Default bamboo hooks

Today I found a new yarn shop, i.e. another temptation place LOL
It=C2=B4s a very little shop in a narrow street near Sveav=C3=A4gen, for =
people=20
knowing Stockholm.
Their choice of yarn is very nice, even if not so wide.
So I could see the Noro yarn for the first time, WOW! That=C2=B4s beautif=
ul!

I found (and bought) bamboo crochet hooks. I tried them and they work=20
great! Looking better once at home I noticed that they don=C2=B4t have th=
e=20
little flat thingie in the middle, so they could be just perfect for=20
bullion stitch. Have to try!

By the way the shopowner complimented me for my flame candle shawl (it=C2=
=B4s=20
getting chilly here), it=C2=B4s always nice to receive a compliment!

Hugs,

Anna Maria

I wish I could go there, Anna Maria! ;-))

I bought bamboo crochet needles this summer, and have used them , and
liked them.

But now I have used one of them much more, and discover that I miss the
"flat part" of the needle!(may be great for bullion stitches, though?) I
am not able to relax , and my "grip" is too hard.

What do YOU think?

AUD ;-))

Hi Aud,

Gee, I'm glad I'm not the only one who missed the flat part on the crochet
hook. I just couldn't get used to the bamboo one so I gave it away.

Hugs,

Nora

Thanks for mentioned about the flat part on the crochet hooks. I have
looked at some of my hooks and not all of them have the flat part in
the middle.

I have bought the bambook crochet hooks as well and love them. I like
trying the different types of hooks.

Gee now I am going to try and figure out which brand I buy that
doesn't have the flat part.

Hi Darlene,

I had never seen hooks without the flat part here in Europe!
I even asked for them, but they looked at me with big round eyes!
Oh, well, I=B4ll come to Canada or USA a day or another g
