I think you'll like it. I sent Patsy a link to a photo of my finished
quilt and told her she and her DVDs had inspired most of the quilting.
I got the NICEST e-mail back from her! She is really supportive and
encouraging.

Thanks Judie and Alice! I've challenged myself and spent a lot of
hours trying to develop my free motion skills.
Alice, you'd think that string quilt would have helped reduce my
stash. That was the purpose. Somehow, though, I seem to have just as
much as ever!!

Beautiful!

Whew!!! I finished it in time to give it for Christmas!!! The last
binding stitch went in this afternoon, and now it's been washed and is
drying all stretched out and flattened and squared on a big sheet on
the upstairs landing.

Before this shot are some other shots showing close-ups of the machine
quilting. I'm not sure the quilt police would be happy because I made
it up as I went along, but I think it will work for my brother and
sister-in-law!

For some reason I'm just now getting this! Anyway, thanks so much and

WHERE is Miz Sairey when we need her?

Will one of you PLEASE inform her she has another to use her charms on ?

Butterfly (THIS is one time that it doesn't matter if you're 'spoken for' or
not. She has a 'way' with Quilt Police and some of us have pixs to prove it)
