I think that when they say to crochet two stitches together they mean to
insert your hook in one stitch, draw up a loop then insert your hook in the next stitch and draw up a loop and make the single crochet. This way you decrease by one stitch. I'm thinking of e-mailing the designer, though, because it's not spelled out quite clearly whether or not one ought to sc through the back loop only at all times. I think so, but I'd rather have it clarified (and so, I'm sure, would other novices). Will let you all know how this thing turns out. |

I'm attempting some socks and the way they have me doing it is through the
back loops only for the ribbing part. Right now the ribbing looks real small and I don't know if the sock will fit or not but I can make one and find out I guess.
