Default Miss Fussy Rose's First Ever Happy Dance!!

She is jubilent and giddy! She is prancing around like nobody's business!
Just in the nick of time (takes after her mother, that one), Miss Fussy Rose
has finished her very first quilt and will be entering it in the NC State
Fair!

A doll-sized 16-patch charm quilt, it is hand-pieced and machine quilted,
with rainbow variegated thread. Pics to follow it's showing in the Hobbies
and Handicrafts building. This building also sells some of the best fudge
I've ever tasted, and is one of the most popular places for fairgoers to
visit. While there, they peruse the exhibits, always well-displayed.
Therefore, Miss Fussy Rose's quilt is likely to be seen my more people than
any other exhibit at the fair!

There are now more quilters than non-quilters in my household. The stash is
not safe.

Woohoo and congrats! Can't wait to go to the fair and see both her
quilt and yours.

Oh, and I'll be happy to..umm...safeguard some of your stash at my

Yay! And I can't wait to see pics of it posted online, too.

Uh-oh.... There's always a down side, isn't there? You'll just have
to let each quilter accumulate her own private stash -- from the store,
not from yours. G

Pass on a good loud cheer for her, Wendy.
That's marvellous. I'm so pleased that she is elated, too.
I do hope it does well at the show (well, yours too of course). Mind
you, if it does, you had better warn her about starting at the top ...!!

How old is Miss Fussy Rose and what kind of fabric does she like? I think she
deserves a squishy.

Will you email me her address, please?

When her 2 older siblings each had their turn at entering a quilt, they won
blue ribbons. I'm afraid Miss Fussy Rose's expectations are a bit high!

I've won 4th place, and Honorable mention ribbons, but no blue ones... yet!
