Alexander's Birthday Sweater.

Regards,
Ranee

My FO is truly pathetic this month (actually, it was last month too):
Nothing.

That's it- haven't finished a single thing. I've done some sewing on my
infuriating machine (if it wasn't so heavy I'd have thrown it out of the
nearest window by now!) and am still working on the new baby's basket. Have
sorted out the attic though and am getting things ready for the birth and
baby clothes washed and aired and doing an inventory of all the equipment (I
forgot that there would be so much of it!) which has involved sorting out
entire rooms to get rid of junk and pack away the not-needed things to make
room for the newborn stuff. Unfortunately I haven't FO'd any of this either
and my house is a chaotic nightmare! The toddler has started to boycott her
daytime nap so I don't get a chance to get stuck into the clearing-out until
after she is in bed and then I'm totally knackered. Sigh. Right now I miss
my Mum! (Superwoman- she can clean a fridge whilst cooking dinner, hanging
wallpaper and working through a stack of ironing all at the same time - at
least it seems like it!) Only 3 weeks to go too and nothing is ready! Thank
goodness babies in our family *never* come early!

Sorry to moan- the amount of stuff left to do on my 'to do' list is a little
overwhelming!

Claire

And the Christmas jumpers are pretty much untouched this month.

FO's for October:

Learnt DAK7 Interactive Knitting (without the Pattern Shaping upgrade)

WIP:
6 x 6 squares (hand knitting makes my hand ache - now I remember that's

why
I switched to Machine Knitting!!!)
Fairisle "fitted" top for myself (on the Silver 580 - using 2/30 Acrylic

Well done on the stuff you have going

Okay, this is just as I can remember as the month had been hectic at best:

FO:
seaman's cap for DF
mobieus attempt given to DM
seaman's cap for DFIL given to DH that needed it now
pair of crochet mittens for DD#1
2 pair of socks one for each DD
pair of Christmas color socks for DF (World's Tallest Elf)
scarf that named itself "Purple Parrot" for DSIL

WIP:
DNA Helix scarf (restarted 6 times!) for DB (geek)
Halloween socks for DF
Yellow socks for DF

Yet to be started:
Mobeius for DMIL
2 DNA Helix scarves one for DF one for DFIL (math teacher)
pair of socks for DM that match DD#1's socks
seaman hat to match scarf for DFIL

Geez, after a list like that, what am I still doing at the computer?

Hi Sarah,

Yes, but my projects are all simple things, and go real fast.

Here is my list of the items completed for October

3 knit scarves
1 gold lapghan
1 granny square afghan (friend's Christmas present)
tons of granny squares
cross-stitched Angel for a friend

WIPs
2 scarves
1 angel dress
baby afghan
too many other items to list

Yes I am happy to say that I have completed a couple of items after the
number of months where I wasn't able to get anything done.
