If you live in the Northern Virginia/DC area ---

Nothern Virginia Carvers (NVC) holds sessions on the first and third
Sundays during the summer months. They run from noon to 4 P.M. at
Colvin Run Mill Park. Colvins is just off Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) a few
miles from Tysons Corner towards Leesburg.

NVC provides tools and also sells basswod blanks for a nominal amount.
This is for adults and kids over 8. Youngsters use rasps and file
instead of knives. It's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
