looking for someone to make a custom earring

A friend of mine has been searching for a certain earring he saw while
on a trip to Morocco ten or so years ago, in the ear of just another
person in the crowd. While standing in a bazaar, a gentleman walked
by who had a unique earring in his ear, that resembled a tiny dagger
thrust through his earlobe. My friend has been searching, on and off,
for one like it ever since.

He does not want a representation of a dagger but something that looks
like a miniature one. I remember a few years ago that "fool the eye"
earrings were popular, with a front piece on a post and the completion
of the object was on the other side of the ear as the back of the
earring.

The handle should be made of, or at least look like, wood, horn or
ivory (or ivory substitute, whatever is used for that now) and the
back part of the dagger should look as if it's in a sheath, so I guess
that part should resemble leather or horn perhaps?

I know this is going to be a somewhat intricate piece; he's given me
a photograph of a knife that is shaped like the piece he would like
the earring to be. I told him I'd look, but it might be a Christmas
present.

If you are an artisan who can help me obtain something like this,
please reply to my email. I know custom work is not inexpensive, and
I would like the highest quality I can find.
