Default Does anyone have instructions for making "pipe and drape" for quilt show display

We want to make our own pipe and drape -- either metal (electrical conduit
probably) or PVC pipe. I would like to have specific parts required and
technique described. My husband is very handy but he says the hard part is
making something that will go together easily, be sturdy, and then come apart
easily. I know these things are commercially available but we'd like to make
them ourselves. Thanks!
